PAX West Entry Info

Sep 01, 2021

This year entry to PAX West will look a little different.  In addition to the metal detectors when entering the Washington State Convention Center and security within the convention center and offsite venues, everyone entering PAX West will need to wear an approved face coving and provide proof of full vaccination for COVID-19, or proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test. Once vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test is verified, each person will receive a wristband to indicate the verification process is complete.  When you provide proof of Full Vaccination, you will receive a wristband that covers your entire time at PAX West! No need to verify again. Fans submitting negative COVID-19 tests will need to be re-verified on subsequent days of entry to PAX.  More information on that below..

Please take some time to read through this list of procedures and be prepared to follow instructions to ensure the health and safety of yourself and fellow attendees. Any questions regarding these procedures or any other PAX West things, please email pax_questions@paxsite.com.

  • Everyone will go through metal detectors upon entry. The less you have with you, the faster and easier it will be to get through security. Please prepare to have your bag searched and props inspected. The same rules of our weapon and prop policies that have applied in past years apply again this year and all items that violate this policy will be confiscated.
  • Please have your APPROVED FACE COVERING on and your Wristband and PAX Badge visible at all times!
  • Be patient with the process and follow the instructions of the Enforcers and staff.
  • Medical: There is a Medical Badge Entrance at Convention Place and Union Street, but those with a Medical Badge will be able to use any entrance. Please note: You will still need your Wristband and PAX Badge before attempting to enter the building – a Medical Badge is not an alternative to your Wristband and PAX Badge.
