Game Preservation - Making Classic Titles Accessible
It’s not just protecting the software that’s important, but creating varied and accessible ways to play that software in a rapidly changing entertainment landscape. What happens when older video formats are no longer supported? Is something lost when playing games through new and different means? Are there certain consoles or games that should take priority in preservation, or will all be saved? We’re chatting about how we’ll continue to play these classics, allow for more practical displays in museums and exhibits, and find easier ways to protect our old favorites.
